IPIS members participated in Autumn Annual Conference of IEIE, 2018. Joongchol Shin has received the LG Best Paper Award for his paper entitled "Correlative Multi-Resolution Convolutional Neural Net for Compact-Car Classification".   

IPIS members participated in the AI Conference hosted by NVDIA. They learned how to use memory-related techniques and streams to optimize the GPU for more efficient computation of deep-running algorithms. This experience will be of great help in studying computer vision using deep learning.  

Prof. Paik and IPIS members participated in the IEIE(The Institute of Electronics and Information Engineers) Workshop. In this workshop, there was a special lecture on GAN which is being actively studied in the field of computer vision based on deep learning. IPIS members have gained knowledge that will be helpful in their research.  

Art&Technology Exhibition has been held on October 15-18. Younghoon Lim, XuFeng Ma, Minwoo Shin, Minjung Lee and Heunseung Lim have exhibited their works. Many people who have attended this exhibition raved about their works.   

Jinbeum Jang, Hyungtae Kim and Seokmok Park have attended 2018 ICIP conference on October 10-12 in Greece.     

In the seminar for pattern recognition during summer vacation, freshman student Donggoo Gang won first place with excellent grades. He received a voucher worth 100,000 won as a commodity, and other researchers applauded and celebrated it.He looks happy.

IPIS members have attended The 12th Future Automotive Electronics Forum on September 11. They learned about state of the art technology used in automobiles.  

Prof. Paik, Joongchol Shin, Kwanwoo Park, YeongBin Kim and HeunSeung Lim have attended the ICCE-Berlin. They presented their own research and have learned state of the art technology. After they successfully completed the presentation, they took a souvenir photo for visiting Brandenburg Gate.  

Minseo Kim, Jaeseung Lim, Sijung Kim, Song Shuxiang, Youngran Jo, Gao Xiao Ya and Ma Xufeng received a MS degree from the graduate school of advanced imaging science, multimedia, and film at Chung-Ang University on 24 August 2018. Congratulations on graduation!!

IPIS members celebrated Prof. Paik's birthday. You're not getting old, you're getting better!   

Prof. Paik and IPIS members have attended the 2018 IEIE summer conference on June 27 ~ June 29, 2018 in Jeju Island, Korea. Some of IPIS members also made their papers public at the conference.   

Prof. Paik and IPIS members have attended ICCE 2018 conference conducted by IEEE and they have made their papers public at the conference.   

IPIS prepared a special equipment, Digital Intermediate(DI) monitor, for advanced experiments. DI monitor analyzes a wide color gamut and various color characteristics.  

To celebrate Teacher's Day, Prof. Paik, Graduates, and IPIS members had a celebration with a delicious dinner party.   

Qingdao University of Environmental Art Design students delivered the flowers of the Teacher's Day to Prof. Paik.

Freshmen of this semester at Qingdao University of Environmental Art Design, Fang Bin zhou have started the first semester.After introducing freshmen, IPIS members had enjoyed the time spending together with him.

Prof. Paik and IPIS members participated in the workshop for AI core technology and application. They learned about the AI technology and recent developments.   

Kyoungman Kim, Daesung LEE, Seokmok Park, HeeGwang Kim, Sangpil Han, Miri Kim and Seonhee Park received an MS degree from the graduate school of advanced imaging science, multimedia, and film at Chung-Ang University on 23 Tuesday 2018. Prof. Paik and IPIS members celebrated their graduation.   

Prof. Paik and IPIS members have attended ICEIC 2018 on January 23-28. Some of IPIS members also made their papers public at the conference.   

Prof. Paik and Youngran Jo have participated in ICCE 2018 conference conducted by IEEE and they have announced their papers with posters at the conference.  

Freshmen of this semester, YeongBin Kim, Donggeun Kim, ChangEui Son, JungSup Shin, JaeMin Lee, HeunSeung Lim, Nakeun Choi and YeonSeung Choo have started the internship. Welcome to IPIS!
