Woojeong Jin won the Best Paper Award at 2017 IEIE fall conference. She wrote a thesis on 'Pedestrian Detection Method Based on Labeling Using Super-Pixel'   

Prof. Paik, alumni, and IPIS members held a seminar and discussed defense surveillance technology on November 27.    

Prof.Paik has been elected as the next president of the Institute of Electronics and Information Engineers. IPIS members celebrated Prof. Paik's good news with enthusiasm. Congratulations!  

Art&Technology Exhibition was held from November 6 to November 9. Heegwang, Daesung, Jaeseung, Youngran, Seokmok, Sangpil, Kwanwoo, Joongchol and Shuxiang exhibited their works. After months of hard work, their efforts finally had borne fruit.

Hasil Park, Sangwoo Park, Jieun Jo and Byeongho Moon received a MS degree from the graduate school of advanced imaging science, multimedia, and film at Chung-Ang University on 25 August 2017. Congratulations on graduation!!  

Prof. Paik and IPIS members have attended the 2017 IEIE summer conference on June 28 ~ July 1, 2017 in Busan, Korea. Some of IPIS members also made their papers public at the conference.

Semi Jeon, Jaehoon Jung and Seungyong Ko received a MS degree from the graduate school of advanced imaging science, multimedia, and film at Chung-Ang University on 17 February 2017. Prof. Paik and IPIS members celebrated their graduation.   

Dr. Wonseok Kang and Ph.D student Soohwan Yu attended 2017 Image Processing and Image Understanding (IPIU 2017) Workshop on February 15, 2017 at Jeju Island, Korea. Dr. Hyuncheol Kim also presented a paper in the same conference.    

Prof. Paik and IPIS members have attended HCI Korea 2017 on February 8-10. Some of IPIS members also made their papers public at the conference.  

Minwoo Shin, a master student in IPIS, has made a presentation about 2D fourier transform in front of IPIS members. IPIS members were studying and discussing the topic.  

Prof. Paik, Semi Jeon and Byeonho Moon have participated in ICEIC 2017 conference conducted by IEEE. They have made their papers public at the conference and studied state of the art technical topics.    

Prof. Paik, Seonhee Park and Heegwang Kim have participated in ICCE 2017 conference conducted by IEEE and Miri Kim has participated in CCWC conducted by IEEE. They have made their papers public at the conference and studied state of the art technical topics.
